Silver State 50M race report

Preparation About 6 weeks ago, frustrated with nagging injuries that had really diminished the joy I get from running, I hired a coach, Meghan, to help me get on track. A sunrise and a sunset

Unable to sleep in (went to bed late and drank too much), I went for a 5.5 mile run around town this morning, and was rewarded by spectacular clouds and sunlight beaming through the fog. It was exactly what I needed to kick the hangover. Throughout the day, the clouds and colors were absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t wait to get out again for another run after work.
